On June 20th, students of School of Russian as a foreign language along with two teachers visited the confectionery factory Kommunarka.
The idea of visiting one of the biggest confectionery organizations came to Larissa, who is one of the students of the School. The initiative was continued by one more student – Jason, who asked if there was a chocolate factory in Minsk that looks like the one from the famous movie.
Firstly, the students and teachers were introduced to the Kommunarka’s history by watching a movie, and also were told about the prospective items. Then an excursion around the factory was held, where the guests watched the process of making confectionery from waffles and nougat and bulk sweets, and cocoa beans roasting as well.
The excursion ended pleasantly with cheap and tasty lunch in the canteen of the factory.
