In this lesson, you will be introduced to compound sentences with the conjunction “too” (also). In addition, the vocabulary and constructions from the previous topics are used: what is your name, where are you from, what do you do for a living? Note that a comma is placed between the parts of a compound sentence that are connected by a conjunction and have two subjects and two predicates.
The conjunction “тоже” “also” can be replaced by the conjunction “и” “and”, the meaning remains the same.
Меня зовут Ольга, ее тоже зовут Ольга. My name is Olga, her name is also Olga = Меня зовут Ольга, и ее зовут Ольга. My name is Olga, and her name is Olga.
